He is admitted in a private integrated school in Mangalore. He shows keen interest in drawing and painting. We provide speech therapy, pre-vocational and vocational activities like ironing clothes, carpentry, daily living skills, etc.

    Kiran,chronological age 15 and mental age 8, mentally challenged with muscular dystrophy, from a place called Guthegar near Subramanya. Has attended an integrated government school till class 8. He is a fun loving and makes lot of friends with his lengthy stories. Training required: activities of daily life like checking the time, independent travel, usage of mobile phone etc..

Respite care

For those who would have to travel or attend family emergencies or ceremonies. The duration of the facility can be availed from few hours to a maximum period of three months.

Long Term Residential Facility

This facility was started with a sole purpose keeping in mind parents of special children. This facility can be availed for special people in the age group of 18 years and above.

Day care

Working parents could benefit of this. They can leave their loved ones in assurance that they would feel and be treated like at home. Homemakers can also be part of this along with their child to learn and train.

Hostel & Boarding Facility

Disabled Children staying at far off places wanting to pursuse their schooling, Riya provides boarding with training of activities for daily living. This is keeping in mind the concept of promoting education with home based training. The child gets to go to the school of their choice.

Every child is gifted. They just unwrap their packages at different times.
